Kokako in Waitakere Ranges celebration
Kōkako are two species of endangered forest birds which are endemic to New Zealand. I have been asked to create the Kokako illustration, for the celebration of the Kokako release event.
My Kokako Illustration stands as a tribute to the preciousness of New Zealand’s native fauna and the collective hope for a brighter future. It was an honor to contribute to this momentous occasion, and I am proud to showcase this illustration as a highlight in my portfolio, a testament to the power of art in promoting awareness and celebrating nature’s wonders.
